November 2019 Update

I just finished editing the first book of a new series last night. It's with the editor now and I'll have artwork, along with some drawings that will go inside the book, in February.

I've got another week of editing ahead of me to edit another book. This book is much shorter than my average (I usually average around 120k words, and this one is around 65k). I needed a break after writing so many long books, and this book fit the bill. I sent an idea to the artist I use for covers, and he's thinking on it. It's definitely different from the sci-fi covers of the first series I wrote.

I'm both excited and a little scared to be publishing my first book. I started writing in 2018 because I was stressed out at work, and writing seemed like a good outlet. I've always read books, more recently LitRPG and Gamelit. My first attempt was 20k words that I immediately threw out. I've made a lot of mistakes during the last year, but I'm hoping the coming year will be that much better because I learned from all those mistakes.

That's all for this month. Next update will be in December.
